Assisting project teams, local authorities, and clients.You will be integral in the Regional Street Works team, supporting the delivery of our client’s responsibilities under the New Roads and Street Works Act.Key Responsibilities:Key Accountability and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for issuing new Streetworks permits to the Street Manager system and managing each permit to it’s conclusionMaintaining awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage the requirements to avoid breaches of legislation and complianceMaintain up-to-date and accurate schedule requirementsCo-ordinating with other 3rd parties, e.g., Parking suspensions, Bus Stop suspensions, Road Closures, etcCoordinating and administering Section 50 licensesAnalysing and Responding to FPN's and Section 74 chargesCompiling reports for proposed and in-progress works where requiredProvide support and input into the company KPI’sRespond to Highway Authority comments and modification requestsParticipate and support the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetingsIdentify and maintain programme and schedule interface activities relating to NRSWA and the projectAll other duties necessary for the successful completion of a project alongside the Project teamCollaborative WorkingBuild collaborative relationships internally and with the Client, to deliver business objectives, targets, and outcomesEngage in business improvements with regional teams and participation in reviews meetings/workshopsAudit and GovernanceMonthly commercial and project review of schemesAudit complianceKey Measures and TargetsSupport monthly and weekly reporting milestones are achievedAdherence to Business objectivesDeliver regional 3 Pillar KPI’sKey RelationshipsSite team members and support departmentsCustomers and stakeholders (internal and external)Subcontractors and suppliersAbout youEssentialGood working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of packagesAbility to communicate at all levelsGood interpersonal and person management skillsAbility to work well with others in a team and on their ownThorough attention to detailGood knowledge and experience in New Roads and Street WorksDesirableStrong organisational skillsAn ability to work proactively, accurately and to deadlinesThe appropriate candidate must be assertive and confident when liaising with Project Managers, Local Authorities, and other stakeholdersCaring and investing in youOur values have been embedded at Barhale for over 40 years and they are our guiding principle regarding how we care and invest in people.
