The Role

We're seeking an experienced Bespoke Exhibition Stand Project Manager to head up our Bespoke department. This is a hands-on role where you'll take full ownership of projects from initial sales through to successful delivery and post-show review as well as managing any others in the team?

What You'll Be Doing

Business Development:

* Convert new leads into opportunities through proactive client engagement
* Hold initial calls with new leads and existing clients to understand brief and communicate it effectively with 3D design team.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients
* Manage sales pipeline to achieve financial targets
* Ensure accurate project costings and profit margin adherence
* Support marketing initiatives for pipeline development

Project Management :

* Manage complete project lifecycle from enquiry to through to follow-up analysis.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
* Oversee technical design processes and client approval workflows
* Manage artwork coordination and client communications
* Conduct thorough post-show reviews to drive continuous improvement

Team Leadership:

* Conduct annual appraisals and manage team development
* Set clear KPIs aligned with company objectives
* Handle recruitment and team management responsibilities
* Manage holiday cover and absence in line with company policy

Financial Accountability:

* Produce project P&L statements and manage associated costs
* Take ownership of departmental budget and target achievement
* Conduct annual contractor reviews to optimise value and performance

What We're Looking For

* Proven project management experience, ideally in exhibition stands valued between £30k-£250k+
* Experience in interpreting technical drawings and floorplans
* Understanding of joinery, woodwork, or temporary structure assembly is a big plus
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Coordinate with internal and external teams including design, production, and logistics
* Excellent client relationship and communication abilities
* Commercial acumen with experience in sales and financial management
* Detail-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment
* Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
* Self-starter who can use their own initiative
