Who You Are We are seeking a full-time, experienced Social Worker for the Mental Health social care team. You should have a background in managing complex Adult Mental Health cases, working effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment, and traveling within and outside the borough as needed. What the job involves This role involves serving as the duty Mental Health Social Worker five days a week (M-F). You will be responsible for attending ward rounds, collaborating with Housing and brokerage, handling S117 aspects, engaging in Court of Protection applications, participating in Mental Health Tribunals, conducting Safeguarding Enquiries, and performing other duty work. You must effectively manage and prioritize a complex caseload, often in a fast-paced and pressurized environment. Skills Experience in managing complex Adult Mental Health cases Ability to work with multi-disciplinary professionals Proficiency in attending ward rounds and handling S117 Experience with Housing, brokerage, and Court of Protection applications Competence in Mental Health Tribunals and Safeguarding Enquiries Capability to manage complex caseloads proactively Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable personal transport
