As a Meetings, Groups and Events Executive (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties…
* Build strong client relationships through regular contact by phone, email, and in-person, working within the reactive team (experience in a commercial team, ideally in a 4 or 5* property or destination venue is desired)
* Respond to M&E enquiries according to company standards, managing enquiries to maximise sales, occupancy, and revenue, including up-selling hotel facilities
* Manage bookings via in-house system, create written confirmations, and contracts (high attention to detail, ensuring brand standards and revenue maximisation)
* Liaise with clients to gather accurate event and reservation details while delivering excellent service via face-to-face and telephone interactions (strong communication skills required)
* Input all enquiries accurately into the Sales system
* Work collaboratively within the commercial team and wider hotel
* Handle prevention, recovery, and investigation of complaints (problem-solving and guest care skills are essential)
* This role typically operates Monday to Friday office hours, with weekends and evenings required as needed. Any additional hours over 40 per week will be paid.
