Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10
Service: 2 bed Childrens Residential Home supporting Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
Salary: £35,080 to £37,680 a year including £50 per sleep in
Shifts: 1 on / 2 off, full time, permanent
The role

You will work closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager and be a steady, positive presence for young people.
What you will do
Lead shifts and keep daily routines running smoothly
Support staff with daily living, key working and positive behaviour strategies
Help young people build independence and emotional regulation
Coach newer colleagues and build a reflective, open team culture
Maintain clear care plans, risk assessments and concise reports
Work closely with families, social workers and multi agency professionals
Keep the home safe, welcoming and compliant with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
What you will bring
At least 18 months in childrens residential care
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Proven shift leadership and clear communication
A calm, relational approach with strong safeguarding practice
Full UK manual driving licence

Overtime at £2.50 per hour after 160 hours in a month
