Overview
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Study Hall Monitor will help with:
1. Checking in/out student athletes
2. Monitoring students
3. Finding resources on campus
Responsibilities
4. Open and close the BDAC study lounge at designated times (see below)
5. Monitor check-in/check-out for all student-athletes entering the Library and Learning Center
6. Assist in the maintenance of an effective learning space in both the BDAC and LLC
7. Help student-athletes navigate the university systems used for education
8. Submit nightly report to Supervisor following the end of study hall to outline any concerns
9. Follow all rules and policies of athletic and library staff
10. Maintain good standing regarding the Student Code of Conduct
11. Coordinate with supervisors and other monitors on a weekly basis
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
12. Must have attended at least some college to the level of Sophomore
13. Maintain a 3.5 semester and overall grade point average
14. Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
15. Previous USU college student familiar with Banner, Canvas, MyUSU, etc.
