Working in the Finance department within a busy, close-knit and supportive team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of varied tasks as below:
1) Accountant for the European branches.
Monthly & Quarterly reporting for European Branch
Balance sheet control for the European Branch
Main finance contact for both branches working closely with local European team
2) AR Reporting and Collection Process
Lead weekly AR meetings with European Finance team
Monthly Reporting of the Accounts Receivable position for Europe to senior management.
Gather information from the branches of which invoices are outstanding and ensure actions to resolve are correctly assigned and followed up in a timely manner
3) Other tasks, including (but not limited to) the following:
IS (Information Systems) Finance Business Partner supporting the IS team in understanding their actuals, supporting & reviewing bi-annual budget submissions and driving any reforecast required
Support overseas Subsidiary Statutory Account & Audit Process
Qualifications/Experience
Demonstrable varied experience within the Finance department of a large organisation, ideally operating in a multi-currency environment.
Experience working with a recognised ERP system is essential. Experience of using SAP would be an advantage.
Qualified in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
A good working knowledge of German would be an advantage, but is not essential
Advanced experience or above in Microsoft Excel
