This service forms part of the community OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) Pathway service provision within Probation across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and aims to support high risk individuals successfully navigate the transition from prison to living back in the community. For further details / informal visits contact: Dr Felicity Nichols [email protected] 01949 803474 Advert We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the ongoing delivery of the IIRMS service, being part of the referral process, supporting in-reach assessment and engagement sessions, assisting with day-to-day living and co-facilitating the delivery of a ‘hub’ day for a small cohort of identified service users. This is an exciting new role which we hope to develop with the successful candidate in line with service needs and the individuals expertise. The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a specialised Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment Detailed job description and main responsibilities Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s Specialist Services Care Unit provides specialist treatment to individuals with personality related difficulties at HMP Whatton and HMP North Sea Camp, in addition to a Therapeutic Community at HMP Gartree (joint NHS/ HMPPS), and also offers OPD services within Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire (community provision). This position is within the Community OPD service across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. We are keen to work with people who are interested in working across the local OPD pathway provision. We are committed to working in partnership with the National Probation service- this service is a joint enterprise so relies on collaborative working. The successful applicant will be based within probation and work closely with Probation Practitioners to deliver a joint service. We also work in partnership with prison services, other healthcare providers and our criminal justice system partners to improve health, support justice and reduce re-offending behaviour. The OPD Pathway Team truly believes it can make a difference to the lives of individuals in the criminal justice system by offering consistent, equitable, high quality services to service users. You should be enthusiastic, motivated, patient focused and enjoy a challenge and ideally have experience or knowledge of an OPD service or the OPD pathway. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
