Our client is looking to recruit a Housing Assistant to join their organisation on a temporary basis.Type: Temporary Contract - 1 Month (with possibility of extension)Pay: £17 - £18 per hour (via Umbrella)Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)Location: Burton-on-Trent (Fully Office-Based)Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
* Understand and support the Right to Buy process
* Process orders and invoices using various housing systems to ensure payment records are accurate, up to date, and reconciled
* Handle general tenancy issues as part of the Housing Assistant role, supporting both tenants and internal teams
* Contribute reliably and proactively to the wider housing management service
Requirements:
* Valid basic DBS check
* Prior experience using housing management systems (e.g., Orchard, Northgate, etc.)
* Experience in a Housing Assistant or similar tenancy-facing role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
