We specialize in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals in their own homes. We are currently expanding our team and looking for a Registered Manager to help manage and grow our existing workforce.
Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and an active NMC pin will be required to oversee our dom care and nursing agency licenses.
Key responsibilities:
* Recruit, coordinate, and manage a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring they meet our high standards of care.
* Manage and maintain nursing agency and domiciliary care licenses, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including RQIA.
* Experience in complex care, such as mental health, learning disabilities, and autism is required. While clinical complexity is not mandatory, candidates should be comfortable addressing these issues.
* Prioritize the provision of care in client homes or supported living environments, with a secondary preference of experience in nursing homes and care homes.
* Maintain an active Access NI clearance.
* Actively contribute to the growth and development of our workforce, helping to build out our team and participating in the interview process.
* Update and maintain agency policies and procedures, ensuring they adhere to regulatory requirements.
* Handle and address any complaints related to the nursing agency, providing effective solutions and resolutions.
Qualifications and experience:
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, in a nursing or healthcare capacity.
* Active NMC pin required.
* Ideally experience within a nursing agency and domiciliary capacity.
* Active Access NI clearance certificate.
* Safeguarding Champion.
* Strong organizational and management skills.
* Experience in recruiting and coordinating a team.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly related to healthcare and nursing agencies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and flexible attitude towards work.
