Dorset Council is advertising on behalf of Dorset Innovation Park. As Dorset’s only Enterprise Zone and home to a growing cluster of advanced engineering, defence, energy and marine businesses, the Park is now forming a new arm’s-length company to drive its next phase of growth. We are looking for a Property & Asset Manager who can help shape this future.
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the strategic and operational management of the Park’s land and property portfolio, ensuring it is well-maintained, commercially effective and positioned to support innovation, inward investment and high-quality job creation.
You’ll oversee contracts, manage estates partners, negotiate leases, market available space and work closely with tenants to ensure the site continues to operate to a high standard. You will also play a key part in the Park’s long-term vision, contributing to financial modelling, future development plans and business cases for new investment.
About you:
We are looking for someone with strong commercial property experience, ideally gained within a complex or mixed-use environment, and confidence managing contracts, leases and supplier relationships. You’ll bring a good understanding of commercial property markets and legislation, combined with the ability to build productive relationships with tenants, contractors, investors and public-sector partners. RICS membership or an equivalent qualification is essential.
