Production Manager / Production Supervisor
Location: North West London (NW2)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Are you a Production Manager or experienced Production Supervisor with a background in manufacturing or assembly environments, based within commutable distance of North West London?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Engineering & Manufacturing business, based in the North West of London, who are a key and growing part of a Global Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology Group, where you will play a key role in leading shop floor operations and driving production performance.
The Production Manager Role
As a Production Manager / Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day operations across a mixed manual and automated production and assembly environment, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
You will work within a site of around 30-35 employees, leading teams across machining, assembly and support functions while supporting continuous improvement and operational development.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Role
1. Lead and support day-to-day production operations from order through to dispatch
2. Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity KPIs
3. Lead, develop and motivate shop floor teams
4. Support and deliver lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
5. Improve production efficiency, consistency and output across assembly and machining
6. Support production planning and scheduling activities
7. Work closely with engineering, supply chain and operations teams
8. Build accountability, structure and engagement across the shop floor
Requirements for the Production Role
9. Experience in a production leadership role such as Production Manager, Production Supervisor or Team Leader
10. Background in manufacturing, engineering or assembly environments
11. Experience leading or managing shop floor teams
12. Strong people management and communication skills
13. Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
14. Understanding of production processes and continuous improvement
15. Ability to drive performance and engage teams effectively
