We are recruiting 6 Weekend Youth Support Workers
Join our team to work in Children's Residential Care Homes.
We can consider individuals without prior qualifications or experience, as we have a dedicated training department to support your success. We believe that some of the best support workers are those with life experience who are seeking an opportunity in the care sector.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 21, who have been placed into care for various reasons and have diverse needs. We seek individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and the skills to positively impact their lives.
This role involves providing guidance, interaction, and support within residential, educational, or independent living settings, aiming to create a safe environment addressing intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will support service users throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contact, education, and shopping. Please note that this position does not require personal care.
We seek positive role models for children and young people.
We value flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working in a specialist environment. Full accredited training and qualifications, including Team Teach, Child Protection, First Aid, Understanding Sexualised Behaviour, Working with Self Harm, Cyberbullying, Autism, and ADHD, will be provided.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS or provide a portable DBS and successfully finish our induction program before placements are offered, unless already on the national DBS database.
