Job summary The post holder will be responsible for participating in the provision of a quality, efficient, responsive, flexible and effective estates service, working as part of the Estates & Facilities Team. This Post is part of the Small Works Team who provides maintenance services, both planned and reactive, for the properties belonging to the Trust. The Post Holder is expected to provide a comprehensive painting, decorating, carpet laying and general maintenance assistance service for all areas of the Hospital. The post holder will be working to established building system procedures, good practice, organisational and broad occupation policies. Often working to measured standards and procedures which require specific training; in first line response situations the post holder will need to establish how such policies can be implemented. Main duties of the job The post holder will work appropriately to their core specialist skills and level of qualification. The main activities of the role are painter; maintenance; reactive repairs; compliance monitoring and associated remedial work. Will perform work of routine and non-routine non-complex and complex nature, responsible for all repairs and routine planned maintenance activities as directed by management.
