Main Responsibilities
* Manufacture and filtration of bulk reagents including adjustments based on performance feedback from the QC department.
* Preparation of equipment and utensils involved in product manufacture (cleaning and sterilisation).
* Preparation of solid phase components used within in vitro diagnostic products (ELISA/CLIA).
* Operation of filling lines to produce filled material or supporting technicians with filling runs.
* Perform routine maintenance and verification of equipment used within production.
* Participating in the assembly and packing of finished products.
* To complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner highlighting issues to line manager as soon as they occur.
* Use the quality management system to ensure compliance to procedures including supporting line manager in conducting periodic reviews and performing updates where necessary.
* Comply will all company procedures governing the role including quality documents, HR and EHS policies.
* Contribute to site approved projects to ensure their timely completion
* Assist with validation/qualification activities of new equipment/processes.
* Work with technical department to complete investigation testing when required.
* Maintain adequate supply of standards and reference components.
* Maintain a sufficient supply of stock inventory to ensure deadlines are met and ensuring inventory transactions are completed both accurately and in a timely manner.
* Deputise for line manager during periods of leave/absence.
* Approach the role in a flexible manner and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation.
Skill Requirements
* Science based educated or relevant experience desirable.
* Knowledge of one or more manufacturing processes
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* The ability to adapt to changes in priorities.
* Willing to learn new skills to support Manufacturing needs.
