About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to lead our demand generation and brand strategy with a strong emphasis on Account-Based Marketing (ABM). This senior role reports directly to the VP of Sales, reflecting our belief that marketing and sales must operate as one commercial engine. You’ll work closely with the existing marketing team to optimise current efforts while developing a clear roadmap for how the department will scale in a way that prioritises measurable ROI. You’ll align with all revenue streams direct sales, bids, and account teams (existing business) and own key initiatives across demand generation, and thought leadership.
Key responsibilities
Demand Generation & ABM
* Own and evolve Tecknuovo’s demand generation engine, with a primary focus on ABM campaigns targeting enterprise clients
* Plan and execute integrated, data-led campaigns across digital, content, and events tailored to high value accounts
* Develop segmented messaging and journey mapping for key personas and verticals
Sales, Revenue & Partner Alignment
* Collaborate closely with all sales revenue streams, including direct sales, bids, and existing growth accounts to deliver impactful marketing programs
* Partner with the VP of Sales and commercial leaders to define ICPs, refine positioning, and accelerate pipeline through tightly aligned go-to-market campaigns
* Lead regular planning and performance sessions with sales to ensure alignment and accountability
* Take ownership of partner marketing initiatives, creating joint value propositions, co-branded campaigns, case studies to drive demand
Thought Leadership & Content and tools
* Lead a thought leadership program that positions Tecknuovo as a leading voice in digital transformation and tech consulting
* Manage content strategy and production, from whitepapers and blog posts to case studies, video and PR
* Experience managing corporate websites and digital platforms, with a strong focus on conversion optimisation, user experience, and integration with marketing automation tools
Team Development, Growth & Brand Strategy
* Work closely with the current Marketing team
* Define and deliver a scalable team structure and roadmap, aligned with business goals and built on a foundation of ROI
* Own the end-to-end marketing strategy with the VP of Sales, balancing brand awareness with pipeline growth across paid, organic, content, events, and PR
* Manage and mentor internal team members and external agency partners as needed
* Optimise performance through data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, and robust analytics

Experience required
* 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in tech consulting or SaaS
* Proven success building and scaling ABM programs that drive top of the funnel pipeline and revenue in complex enterprise sales cycles
* Demonstrated experience working closely with multiple sales channels
* Experience in building businesses from £50M to £100M in revenue
* Have previously built a Marketing Organisation, this is a key requirement
* Track record of building, leading, and scaling marketing teams with a focus on commercial impact and ROI
* Strategic mindset with operational rigour, comfortable in platforms like HubSpot (highly valued)
