Young People Leaving Care Outreach Support Worker position available.
Outreach hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.
This is a long-term temporary position with no fixed end date. If you subscribe to the update service and have a short notice period, a quick start through a temp-to-permanent placement is possible.
Positions cover Sheffield, Leeds, and Hull.

Full UK Driving License with Business Insurance is essential.
Hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of young people, but the position also offers flexibility.
Responsibilities include:
* Completing property inspections
* Supporting young people to develop independence skills
* Managing their diaries and working closely with permanent staff
Our client is a leading provider of care to children and young people and is recruiting for a Support Worker on a permanent basis.
A quick start is possible if you have a current online DBS.
Experience in a similar setting and preferably a completed NVQ3 in Children & Young People Workforce or a similar qualification are essential.
Qualifications/Requirements
* High standard of general education
* Preferably NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – Children and Young People (CCYP) or equivalent
* Willingness to undertake further training
Job Purpose:
To provide support for vulnerable people (service users) for the company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist the young person’s allocated social worker in service delivery, including transport, inductions, assessments, support, welfare, NHS issues, report preparation, appointment arrangements, and move-on support.
2. Maintain accurate electronic records of service users.
3. Attend meetings as required.
4. Provide mediation as needed.
5. Utilize IT packages effectively.
6. Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
7. Maintain confidentiality.
8. Assist in policy and procedure development.
9. Report housing issues and assist in defect resolution.
10. Undertake on-call duties as directed.
11. Participate in office reception duties if required.
