Product Support Specialist, Kingswinford

Job Description:
We are recruiting a Product Support Specialist for a leading company in Kingswinford. This is an office-based role reporting to the Technical Manager. You will manage technical solutions, installation assistance, and field support within a designated geographical region in the UK and Ireland.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site technical support, resolving issues within specified timeframes.
2. Prioritize client visits, coordinate schedules with the Technical Manager, and complete visit reports.
3. Maintain professional customer relations through efficient service.
4. Assist in technical training and exhibitions as needed.
5. Provide onsite training for engineers and operators.
6. Support the Technical Help Desk and cover for absent staff when required.
7. Ensure adequate technical support for nominated accounts.
8. Conduct personal expenditure within company policies.
9. Report competitor activities to the Sales Director.
10. Regularly update the client database for targeted technical communications.
11. Participate in reviews with the Technical Manager to identify training needs and set personal development goals.
12. Maintain regular contact with key customers to ensure satisfaction.
13. Perform any additional duties as directed by the Technical Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) with skills in electrical/mechanical disciplines. Proven experience in fault-finding vending equipment and customer-facing roles is essential.
Required Competencies:
* Knowledge of electro/mechanical vending and HoReCa equipment.
* Fault diagnosis and correction skills.
* Understanding of health and safety related to installation and maintenance of vending/HoReCa equipment.
* Effective communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to deliver technical training.
* Good internal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with Help Desk systems (Salesforce).
* Planning, organization, and time management skills.
