Baywater Healthcare has an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Healthcare Assistant based in the North East. We are looking for a friendly, communicative individual who enjoys supporting their community to join our supportive team!
About the Role
You will be joining the very heart of Baywater in our 897 team, providing high-quality clinical support for Baywater Healthcare HOS-AR contracts. Each day is different, so you’ll need to be adaptable and flexible, but because of this you will be appreciated by customers, patients, and team alike.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Provide compassionate and professional support to service users, their families, and clinical leads.
* Act as the first point of contact for patients and prescribers using the HOS-AR service, especially in cases of difficulties or complaints.
* Support the HOS-AR service by delivering training, offering ongoing clinical support, and maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care.
* Under supervision, carry out and interpret basic monitoring tests such as blood pressure, pulse oximetry, temperature, blood gases, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
* Complete enhanced risk assessments and implement safety interventions to ensure the safe delivery of oxygen therapy.

Experience
* About You: a kind, friendly, and communicative individual who enjoys helping people and is excited about working with us. If you don’t tick every box, please apply.
* Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Must be a team player but able to work on own initiative, be innovative and resourceful, with a compassionate and caring attitude
* Experience in respiratory care preferred but not essential
