Counter Assistant
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
* Take customer orders and process payments accurately
* Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
* Upsell additional menu items and promotions to customers
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
* Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed
* Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
* Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
* Manage cash register and perform cash handling duties
Experience:
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
* Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
* Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism
