URGENT REQUIREMENT: DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
We’re hiring an experienced Data Protection Officer for a 3-month contract with potential to extend. This role involves working across multiple entities with NHS data connections, supporting key projects and advising senior stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
* Act as the designated DPO and ensure compliance with UK GDPR
* Interpret requests from internal teams and NHS partners
* Provide guidance on data protection for major programmes including CRM and NHS data sharing
* Deliver pragmatic, risk‑balanced solutions
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in healthcare, local government, or similar
* Strong knowledge of UK GDPR
* Approachable, collaborative style with excellent stakeholder skills – soft skills essential
* Ability to balance risk appetite
* Support to senior stakeholders
* Contract length: 3 months, extension possible
* Competitive daily rate
* Hybrid working: two days on‑site preferred, flexibility available
