Personal Banking department oversees debit and credit care operations, and provides back office support to the Bank’s branches. The Digital Solutions Team implements the personal banking development strategy and provides high quality of banking services to individual customers in the local market. As a Digital Solutions Associate – Mandarin Speaking, you will support the digital transformation, strategic planning, product development and market research initiatives within the department in order to execute the key projects and organisational goals. This is a full time permanent position.
Key responsibilities
* Assist in developing Personal Banking products, with a focus on digital transformation and process automation to meet the changing needs of customers
* Monitor product performance, understand evolving target customer profiles and assist in developing new products and/or enhancing the existing product portfolio up to the customer expectations
* Analyse internal and external data to deliver the Bank’s sales and distribution strategy
* Effectively translate the strategy to the Branch network, in order to attract, retain customers and foster long-term value relationships with the clients
* Conduct market research, monitor industry and competitor movements and prepare the findings to the Head of Department
* Assist in monitoring the performance of the Branches and act as a coordinator between the branches, Personal Banking department, and other departments
* Communicate with, monitor and assist the department and the Branches in applying the Bank's relevant policies and procedures
* Work closely with Internal Audit, Risk Management and Financial Crime & Compliance departments to support scheduled audits and reviews of digital products and services, ensuring all action items are completed accurately within required deadlines
* Be responsible for troubleshooting the Bank’s core banking system and addressing other business-related issues encountered by the Personal Banking department and Branches
* Identify and promote cross-selling opportunities within other business departments across the Bank
* Liaise with the IT department and Head Office to improve Personal Banking’s application systems and draft business requirements through detailed business and system analysis
* Support with reviewing and updating relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with business requirements
* Assist with reporting for Head Office
* Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new employees if required
Requirements
* Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science or other relevant subjects
* Proven experience in data quality, data governance or data management, ideally in Financial Services
* Good knowledge and understanding of the structure and flow of data and being able to define and self-develop the best-practice data quality controls by direct data querying
* Knowledge of Corporate and Retail Banking products, business design, client management and market/industry initiatives is preferable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially in Excel for sourcing, analysing, normalising and processing data for quality validations
* Team player who is able to work independently
