The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers across the UK with: Installation and commissioning of new systems Routine service, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and breakdown support Electrical fault finding, wiring, and re-wiring (3-phase, 415V) Working on actuators, motors, sensors, and HMIs (inputs/outputs) Reading and interpreting electrical schematics Supporting control systems and network integration You’ll enjoy a varied, autonomous role with limited overnight stays (average one night per week), offering a strong work-life balance. About You Electrically biased engineer with a recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) Confident working on 3-phase (415V) machinery Able to read electrical diagrams and carry out complex fault finding Experience with actuators, sensors, motors, and control systems Customer-focused, professional, and flexible to travel We welcome candidates from any capital equipment background — including engineers currently in maintenance roles who are looking to move into field service.
