Location: Lewisham, London

Salary: £35,920 - £51,640

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, talented, and passionate Service Manager to lead our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing young people’s drug, alcohol, and sexual health service. Based in the vibrant London Borough of Lewisham, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality support for children, young people, and families.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team dedicated to improving outcomes, reducing harm, and empowering young people to make positive, healthy choices.

What You’ll Do

1. Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for the service.

2. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, providers, and community organisations.

3. Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based models of care to young people, children, and families.

4. Lead, motivate, and support a team of skilled staff, ensuring effective supervision and guidance.

5. Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements.

6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

7. A relevant professional qualification in health, social care, or a related field.

8. Experience delivering models of care to young people, children, and families affected by substance misuse.

9. A proven track record of leadership, staff management, and delivering high-quality services.

10. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and service users.

11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and shape effective service strategies.

12. Solid knowledge of the substance misuse sector and the wider health and social care landscape.
