Job Role: Finance Business Partner
Location: New Milton
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business, providing clear financial insight, and supporting commercial decision‑making. As the Finance Business Partner for the Business Services division, you will be responsible for delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting to help the business understand its financial position and drive operational performance.
Working directly with operational managers and directors in Business Services you will play a key role in explaining results, identifying opportunities, and supporting business planning. This is a hands‑on role with no direct reports, suited to someone looking to grow their business partnering capabilities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
* Support the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting process for the Business Services business.
* Ensure financial forecasts align with operational expectations and business priorities.
* Prepare analysis to explain variances, risks, and opportunities.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the day‑to‑day finance partner to Business Services operational leaders.
* Provide clear insight into financial performance, key trends, and underlying drivers.
* Challenge and support stakeholders to drive better commercial outcomes.
* Build strong working relationships across Business Services to understand how finance can best support operational needs.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
* Produce monthly and weekly reporting packs for Business Services, including P&L analysis and KPI trends.
* Support the month‑end process by preparing journals, reviewing results, and ensuring accuracy.
* Use financial and operational data to highlight areas for improvement, cost efficiency, or growth.
* Review and enhance reporting templates and dashboards.
Financial Support & Operational Insight
* Assist with customer pricing models, business cases, and commercial proposals where needed.
* Support cash flow analysis and debt control for the Business Services Division.
* Help identify process improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
What We're Looking For
* Working towards a finance professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and take initiative to drive resolutions.
* Previous experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or management accounting role.
* Confident working with operational teams and building constructive relationships.
* Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
* Someone who takes ownership, demonstrates curiosity, and seeks ways to continuously improve processes and insight.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with Adaptive Insights and BI tools beneficial.
* A collaborative team player who is keen to learn and develop their business partnering capability.
