The GRP Laminator/Glass Reinforced Plastic Laminator/Fiberglass Laminator job itself on Monday-Friday Days 39.5 hrs (Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:00 & Early Finish on Fridays 07:30-13:00 .
You will produce a range of products including Showers, Baths and Automotive Components. Preparing and applying fiberglass sheets or moulds to create various components and products. This includes cutting fiberglass materials to size, mixing resin and hardeners, and applying these substances to fiberglass sheets. Use rollers or brushes to remove air pockets and ensure a smooth, even coat on moulds or parts, adhering strictly to safety and quality guidelines to the lay-up specification. More specifically:
Read and understand lay-up specifications
Preparing moulds ready for gel
Application of gel coat
Perform a range of laminating processesincludingwet-lay and Spray lamination
Use of hand tools
Identify laminating defects
Use of core materials and generic bonding pastes
Release of simple moulds
Use and control of patterns and jigs
Basic housekeeping duties
Record daily time spent on jobs on timesheet
Correct use of PPE
A thorough understanding of GRP laminating and associated processesincludingTrimming and Polishing
Understanding of quality processes
You will have
To be successful as GRP Laminator/Fiberglass Laminator you will need to understand lay-up drawings and use your laminating skills to carry out the required workload. Plus y ou will have a healthy mix of the following:
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
Good team player and excellent communicator
A thorough understanding of GRP laminating and associated processes including those mentioned above which may include trimming and grinding
Understanding of quality processes

As GRP Laminator/Fiberglass Laminator you will enjoy an hourly rate of £13.50-£14.00 meaning competitive salary of £26,300K-£27,300K Neg PA, plus package:
