Plumbing Mechanic - Mechanical Construction

Our expertise includes pipe-fitting, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sheet metal/pipe fabrication. We serve markets such as commercial, government, industrial, healthcare, education, retail, data centers, pharmaceutical, and technology industries. We utilize state-of-the-art CAD/BIM software and work on diverse design-build/design-assist projects. Our track record includes collaborations with Samsung, Amazon, Toyota, ConAgra Foods, Nestlé, and several universities.
Job Responsibilities
1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components. Review building plans, identify tools and equipment, select pipe types and sizes, locate connection points, install supports, assemble fittings, and test systems for leaks.
2. Ensure compliance with all building codes, installation standards, and environmental regulations. Perform scheduled maintenance, verify installations meet manufacturer specifications, and ensure proper sizing, support, and grading of systems.
3. Manage work schedules, prepare budgets, order supplies, and maintain reports. Coordinate with other trades and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
4. Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Med Gas ASSE 6010 and ASME IX Brazer certification.
* Knowledge of water distribution and wastewater disposal systems.
* Understanding of relevant building codes, legislation, and environmental standards.
* Ability to work cooperatively with other trades and demonstrate team-building skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
* Proficiency in computer applications including accounting, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
* Stress management, time management, responsibility, conscientiousness, cultural awareness, flexibility, and sound work ethics.
Note: The Plumber must hold a Journeyman license in Plumbing in Kentucky and pass a background check and drug screening.
