The Role
We’re seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in managing challenging behaviours to join our talented team. Your role will involve supporting students across Key Stages 1 and 2, offering targeted guidance, personalised intervention, and compassionate care. You’ll work closely alongside teachers, SEN professionals, and families to implement strategies that foster positive behaviours and create a calm, purposeful learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support for students exhibiting challenging behaviours
• Implement and monitor behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with staff
• Support students academically, socially, and emotionally, promoting positive engagement
• Foster effective communication between staff, students, and families
Ideal Candidate
• Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviours (desirable but not essential – training provided)
• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
• Strong teamwork ethos, flexible and solution-oriented
• Committed to making a meaningful difference in students’ lives
