About the Role:
Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re looking for a passionate, resilient individual to join our supportive school community in North Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills, build your CV, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of SEN pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teaching and support staff in providing one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN.
2. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development.
4. Observe and record behaviours to inform ongoing support strategies.
5. Work collaboratively with the school team to understand and meet pupils’ individual needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
6. A recent graduate in Psychology or related field.
7. Genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
8. Resilient, patient, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
9. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
10. Previous experience working or volunteering with children is a bonus but not essential.
