SEN and Mental Health Support Worker - Wokingham
ASAP Start - Full-Time Position
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and mental health challenges? An inclusive and forward-thinking SEN school in Wokingham is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN and Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting children aged 5 to 11 with a variety of needs including Autism, ADHD, and other complex learning or emotional needs.
This role is ideal for Psychology, Counselling, Education, or Criminology graduates or individuals looking to start a rewarding career in mental health, therapy, education, or child development.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other special needs in the classroom and during activities.
* Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment by providing 1:1 or small group interventions to aid learning and emotional regulation.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists and SEN professionals to implement personalised support plans.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, Education, or related fields.
* Genuine passion for mental health, child development, and inclusive education.
