Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist/Family Therapist to join the Community CYPMHS Service in the Enfield Neurodevelopmental Team. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Bay Tree House in Enfield. This is a full-time position, but applications for part-time or flexible working are welcome.
Main duties of the job
The Job Holder will be part of the Neurodevelopmental team within Enfield CAMHS, providing neurodevelopmental services to clients referred to the autism and ADHD pathways. Responsibilities include undertaking specialist neurodevelopmental assessments, contributing to diagnostic processes, and formulating strengths and needs based on best practices and evidence. Delivery of neuropsychological assessments and psychological therapy may also be required. The role involves supporting the team and organization to uphold the Trust's values: Compassion, Respect, Being positive, and Working together.

Job responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive, specialist assessment and intervention services for children and young people referred for neurodevelopmental assessment, including support for their families.
* Deliver evidence-based neurodevelopmental and psychological interventions, including contributing to multi-disciplinary assessments and treatments.
* Liaise with and advise parents, carers, colleagues, and other agencies on psychological care.
* Undertake risk assessments and manage risks, providing advice on psychological aspects of risk management.
Person Specification
Education (Essential)
* Professional qualification in clinical psychology or counselling psychology
* Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments including autism and ADHD
* Practical experience administering ADOS-2
Desirable
* Experience administering 3di or ADI-R
* Experience with cognitive assessments (WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WAIS-IV)
* Additional training related to NDS/Mental Health
Skills (Essential)
* Basic IT skills
* Strong teamwork and development commitment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
* Experience in conducting audits or research in healthcare
* Skills in providing consultation to professional and non-professional groups
