French Finance Assistant - Wells & Co. - Bedford, Bedfordshire Company Description We are looking for a French speaking Finance Assistant to join our small Finance Shared Service Team based in Bedford. You will be part of the Finance Shared Service Team of 4. Your main responsibilities will include the processing of vendor invoices and the maintenance of French vendor accounts. As part of the team you will be frequently expected to communicate with both our French and English stakeholders in a professional and consistent manner to resolve a variety of queries. The role will demand close co-ordination between all departments and a collaborative approach to problem solving to enhance the overall customer experience. Position ·Accurate postings of purchase invoices. ·Completion of supplier statement reconciliations using excel. ·Process weekly payment runs. ·New vendor set up / amendments are maintained in line with required data validation agreements and approvals. ·Able to resolve supplier queries within agreed resolution times. ·Communicate fluently and professionally with our vendors. ·Have confidence and proactiveness to chase the progress of any query or complaint to gain a swift conclusion, working with other departments/external clients for action that will aid completion. ·Manage supplier expectations through exceptional communication skills. ·Working to deadlines and agreed targets. ·Highly energetic and self-motivated, ability to work as an individual and as a Team member. ·Use excel knowledge to improve processes where possible. ·Undertake activities in relation to credit control and UK bought ledger to support the achievement of business deadlines, skills, know-how and experience. ·Assisting with the implementation of any process or system changes.
