Full time - 37.5 hours per week or Part Time - 30 hours per week
Are you a Clinical Psychologist ready to take the lead in a role where your expertise genuinely shapes lives? As our Senior Clinical Psychologist, you'll be at the heart of clinical decision-making, surrounded by like-minded professionals in a department that takes psychology seriously. You will be joining friendly, well-established and highly regarded Psychology and Therapies department who take clinical excellence seriously and support each other to deliver it. You will provide a holistic and person-centred service to our patients who present with a wide range of mental health needs and psychiatric conditions. You will be supervised by the Head of Therapies – Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
As a department, we are working on a number of service development projects, including: trauma-informed care; making reflective practice more inclusive; and developing targeted psychological work for patients who are acutely unwell. Our team’s aim is for everyone at Nouvita to be touched positively by psychology – staff and patients!
In line with the seniority of the role, you will hold service-wide leadership responsibilities and will be expected to provide consultation and psychological thinking to the senior leadership team of the hospital. You will be proactive in this and show independence of thought and initiative.
Baldock Manor is a 40-bed mental health facility for adults in various settings (two Female PICU's, and two Acute Wards), with an increased focus on psychology led treatments.
