Private Client Lawyer
Location: Wells
New opportunity to join a highly reputable and well established firm with a strong presence in the Somerset market who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their growing Wills, Trusts & Tax team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a stimulating caseload involving estate planning, trusts, tax, and powers of attorney.
You'll deliver tailored legal solutions to individuals and families, with responsibilities including:
* Drafting and advising on Wills, including complex estate planning
* Creating and managing lifetime trusts, including overseeing annual tax returns
* Administering estates and trusts with precision and care
* Advising on inheritance tax and capital tax planning strategies
* Managing a portfolio of clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney (both financial and health-related)
* Staying up to date with legal, tax, and compliance developments in private client law
* Providing empathetic, high-quality client service and building strong professional networks
Candidate Requirements:
* Solid experience in private client law, particularly in wills, trusts, and tax planning
* A strong working knowledge of inheritance tax and capital taxes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
* Confidence managing a varied and complex caseload
* A proactive attitude toward business development and relationship building
