The Role
Are you experienced with power distribution systems? Do you want to lead electrical projects from design through to delivery? We are seeking an experienced Power Distribution Engineer to join our team in Luton.
This position involves project delivery, electrical analysis, and team management on infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include designing, managing, and improving power distribution systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and compliance standards. You will liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure transparency, efficiency, and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and upgrade 12kV power distribution systems
* Conduct system analysis and provide technical recommendations
* Lead site surveys and manage installation teams
* Coordinate maintenance programs
* Perform troubleshooting and fault investigations
* Generate project reports and technical documentation
* Ensure safety and regulatory compliance

The Person
* BSc in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status preferred)
* Strong background in power distribution and substations
* Knowledge of earthing design and power system studies
* Experience managing teams and projects
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and use software (e.g., Inventor, Microsoft Office)
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Willing to travel for site visits and meetings
