My client a large PLC based in Birmingham is looking for a Management Accountant to support them on a 6 month fixed term contract. They are looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks and commutable from Birmingham as they in the office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and variance reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Support group reporting and consolidation across business units.
Provide financial analysis for strategic decisions and business cases.
Partner with senior leaders to drive performance and cost control.
Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations.Skills and knowledge:
Excellent excel skills
Strong ability to work with ERPs, specifically Navision
Proactive
Driven
