Salary:
Unqualified: Starting at £27,781.80 per annum, with potential earnings up to £31,039.08 including sleep-in shifts.
Qualified: Starting at £28,719.60 per annum, with potential earnings up to £31,976.88 including sleep-in shifts.
(Qualified Care Worker salary is based on the proven completion of a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare)

Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of our young people. We are looking for individuals who are strong, committed, and passionate about supporting children in their journey. You will be a role model, a listening ear, and a source of inspiration, helping to create happy memories and fun experiences.
Main Duties
Your daily responsibilities will vary based on whether it’s term-time or holiday periods, but here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
* Support daily routines, including personal hygiene, meals, and activities.
* Encourage life skills and independence through room cleaning and socialization.
* Attend medical and other appointments.
* Assist with activity planning and completion of daily paperwork.
* Build relationships with families and plan special occasions.
* Act as a Keyworker, creating special moments and opportunities for the boys.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:
* Flexibility for sleep-in nights and 14-hour shifts (typically 2 days on, 2 days off).
* An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare) or a willingness to pursue one.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A team player who is eager to learn.
* A full, clean UK driving license.
* Experience in Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
