Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NVQ level 3 and/or BTEC or equivalent in pharmaceutical science
2. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
3. Accredited checking pharmacy technician
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
4. Hospital Pharmacy Experience
5. Good interpersonal skills. Confident and assertive when working with other professionals with the ability to work quickly, calmly and accurately under pressure.
6. Portfolio demonstrating competency of previous and current pharmacy practice skills, knowledge and evidence of CPD
7. Willing to take responsibility
8. IT literacy including word processing, e-mail and use of the internet
Desirable criteria
9. Staff management
10. Qualified on the Pharmacy Medicines Management Optimisation Programme
