Based near Newbury, Berkshire, you will own supplier relationships and champion continuous improvement through LEAN principles, helping drive operational excellence in a fast-growing, innovative business. Benefits Package: * Company pension scheme – 3% employer contribution * Life assurance (death in service) scheme – 2 x salary tax free * Medicash medical expenses scheme – Level 4 for you and up to 4 children * Health & wellbeing support package * Performance-related bonus scheme – paid twice yearly * Training opportunities provided = qualification-related pay increases Pay & Shift: * £48,000 per annum * 40 hours per week * Monday to Friday Your key responsibilities: * Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure optimum value and quality * Manage full procurement cycle and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and delivery * Lead production scheduling; maintain Master Production Schedule and coordinate cross-functional planning * Oversee MRP system usage for demand forecasting and inventory control * Monitor supplier KPIs and drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery * Embed LEAN principles to reduce waste and enhance efficiency * Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve operational excellence * Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless operations What we’re looking for: * CIPS Level 5 or equivalent procurement qualification * Proven experience in procurement management and production scheduling * Strong negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills * Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software * Continuous improvement mindset with LEAN experience preferred * Excellent communication skills and collaborative working approach If you are interested in this position, please apply today, or contact our Newbury branch.
