Full time Monday Friday 9am-5pm. Peterborough field based blended with remote and office working.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and inspire a team of surveyors, setting clear objectives and supporting their development.
* Oversee complex building surveys, defect diagnosis and condition assessments in line with RICS standards.
* Manage major works projects from start to finish, including tendering and contract administration.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations (HHSRS, Building Regulations, CDM).
* Contribute to the asset management strategy and long‑term investment planning.
* Act as the primary technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
* Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS).
* Proven experience in project management and contract administration.
* Strong knowledge of construction technology and building regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage budgets and deliver value for money.
* Clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites.
* Willingness to undertake DBS checks.
Desirable Requirements
* Degree in building studies or related field.
* Experience in the housing sector and using JCT / PPC2000 contracts.
