Global FMCG manufacturing business require an FM Buyer to lead procurement activity across; FM, MRO, maintenance, HVAC or Capex spend areas. Applicants need indirect procurement experience, ideally within FM or facilities. The FM Buyer will join a successful and high-performing team of Buyers and Senior Buyers reporting to a Procurement Manager. The FM Buyer will have ownership of the FM and facilities category spend area which includes; hard/soft FM, capex, HVAC, MRO, and maintenance contracts. Specific duties of the FM Buyer include: Supply market intelligence activities across the FM and Facilities spend areas Manage supplier relationships, holding regular performance and innovation review meetings. Lead cost-saving initiatives and negotiate contracts to drive value. Participate in RFPs, tenders, and internal/external audits. Administer purchase orders, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain accurate records. Continuously improve purchasing practices and support strategic procurement projects. FM Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria: Previous procurement experience in indirect category areas; particularly FM and facilities or related Ability to add commercial value to the team - negotiate contracts, manage tenders and SRM Excellent relationship and stakeholder engagement skills - understand internal requirements Experience with procurement/sourcing tools, MRP/ERP etc. Proactive, positive and motivated self-starter
