Responsibilities

* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
* Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for daily operations.
* Implement and maintain strict food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
* Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
* Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
* Engage with guests when required, providing exceptional hospitality and addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong culinary skills.
* Supervising experience in a kitchen environment is essential for effective team management.
* Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable.
