Description
The core mission of the SDR Team Leader role is to manage and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to exceed their lead generation targets, by developing a successful, scalable process and high-performance culture that drives success.
As a proven successful breeding ground for AccessPay’s next generation of Sales superstars, this role is key to our organic expansion by growing the sales professionals of tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of 10 (and growing!) SDR’s to achieve and exceed lead generation targets.
* To map out the end-to-end SDR process, continually looking at ways to increase conversion rates across all outreach channels.
* Develop further the SDR Playbook of best practice, covering all facets of the role from email prospecting and objection handling to effective use of our inhouse systems.
* To work closely with Marketing on executing targeted integrated outreach campaigns that are optimised to maximise sequence and call conversions into meetings.
* To work closely with our in-house data team to create meaningful data & insights dashboards to measure and improve performance across the team on a daily / weekly / monthly basis; highlighting any potential blockers to Sales / Marketing Directors, with suggestions of how any challenges can be alleviated.
* Using the MEDDICC qualification framework, you’ll look to continually test and refine effective questioning techniques to maximise SQL conversion.
* Ensure the team are able to use the systems effectively, capturing all relevant data and highlighting any issues or recommendations on changes to the technology stack currently used.
* Build an SDR competency framework, capturing the key knowledge and skills required and help identify training and coaching needs.
* Working alongside the Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll ensure that every member of the team is continually assessed and has an individual training and development plan that covers AccessPay’s offerings, SDR process and the wider payment industry and its key players.
* To manage onboarding, probation reviews, whilst also maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates, to ensure we plan ahead as existing SDR’s are promoted into sales.
* To bring energy and creativity to the role and always be thinking about opportunities for improvement. From incentives to themed activities, it’s critical that we challenge the team, but that their working environment remains a fun place to learn and earn.
