Our client, a fast-growing and entrepreneurial FMCG wholesaler and distributor with a global reach, is looking for a dynamic and driven Management Accountant to join their ambitious finance team. Key Responsibilities as a Management Accountant:
* Play a key role in producing insightful monthly management accounts and sharp financial analysis that drives business performance.
* Take ownership of cash flow forecasting, treasury activities and FX processes - helping the business stay agile and cost-efficient.
* Lead on VAT preparations and support international tax compliance, gaining valuable cross-border experience.
* Assist with credit control and risk management, balancing strong customer relationships with financial discipline.
* Partner with leaders across the business, prepare Board-level reporting and contribute to conversations that shape future growth.
* Support annual audit delivery, inventory audits and the enhancement of internal controls.
* Champion continuous improvement by streamlining processes, improving systems and ensuring robust, up-to-date finance documentation.
To be a successful Management Accountant you must be:
* Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent).
* Experienced in SME finance environments, comfortable working across management accounts, VAT, cash flow and AP/AR.
* A confident Excel and Sage user; PowerBI knowledge is a great bonus.
* Meticulous with detail yet commercially minded, with a passion for solving problems and improving the way things work.
* A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.
* Ambitious, curious and excited by the opportunity to grow into a senior finance role.
