A progressive and inclusive secondary school in Swindon, part of a successful Multi Academy Trust, is recruiting motivated and enthusiastic graduates to join as Graduate Academic Mentors (Graduate Teaching Assistants) starting September 2025. This is a full-time, paid role offering a unique chance to work alongside exceptional teachers, develop key teaching skills, and make a positive impact on students’ learning.

Mathematics
Modern Foreign Languages (especially Spanish, some French)
Geography
History

Your Role:
Supporting classroom teaching in your specialist subject or more generally as required
Working one-to-one or with small groups to boost students’ confidence and skills
Assisting with lesson planning, creating resources, and managing behaviour
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Gaining a thorough understanding of daily school operations and educational practice
Ideal Candidate:
Graduating in 2025 (or recently graduated) with at least a 2:1 degree
Preferably from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university
Passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development
Interested in one or more of the key subjects listed above
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but not essential
