We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legionella Risk Assessment Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, managing, and mitigating Legionella risks in various environments. The role involves supervising a team of Legionella risk assessors, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and providing expert guidance on Legionella control measures.

The Role:
Promote safe ways of working at all times
Supervise a team of Legionella risk assessors, providing leadership, guidance, and support
Conduct Legionella risk assessments in various premises, including but not limited to industrial, commercial, Health care and residential buildings
Review and evaluate Legionella risk assessment reports submitted by the team to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Develop and implement Legionella control and management strategies based on assessment findings and best practices
What you’ll need:
Certification as a Legionella Risk Assessor e.g., City & Guilds, is essential
In-depth knowledge of Legionella bacteria, associated health risks, and control measures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Two years of experience in Legionella risk assessment and management (preferred)
One year in a supervisory or managerial role (preferred)
Full and valid driving licence
City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or higher Plumbing (required)
ACOP L8, Water Regulations, COSHH and HSAWA (preferred)
Water Hygiene work history: one year (preferred)
