Join a growing, specialist engineering manufacturer designing and building bespoke systems for the marine sector. This is an opportunity to work on technical projects from concept through to manufacture within a close‑knit, high‑quality engineering environment.
Responsibilities
* Design Engineer role within a bespoke manufacturing environment
* Responsibility for end‑to‑end design projects, from customer enquiry through to manufacture
* Design and development of new and existing products to meet customer and business requirements
* Creation of high‑quality technical drawings, documentation, and bills of materials
* Collaboration with customers and internal production teams to deliver effective solutions
* Opportunity to contribute to product improvement, cost reduction, and new manufacturing methods
* Occasional travel to customer sites to support design reviews, installation, or problem‑solving
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* HNC/HND or equivalent industry experience
* Mechanical or Electrical engineering background
* Experience using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
* Minimum 2 years' mechanical design experience
