Senior IT Product and Vendor Manager Pay Rate Competitive salary plus Car or allowance of £7000, family healthcare plus more Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Remote with up to 25% business travel DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior IT Product / Vendor Manager to play a vital role providing IT products & services to our UKI transportation business units and their customers This role sits within our Transportation IT team and is critical in championing and continuously improving our IT product portfolio through the management of external vendors in all areas such as product roadmap, compliance and SLA management. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? This role is responsible for the management and direction of Transportation IT products within the UKI region. You will also be leading and developing the UKI Transportation IT Product team A large part of this role is to drive the standardisation agenda for your products, working closely with Operations Excellence teams and aligning with organisational strategy. You will develop and govern the IT Product strategies required to maintain sustainable, scalable and affordable regional IT products. Collaborating with senior managers and VPs within the region to ensure a clear and established engagement framework is key. Development of business, application & technology roadmaps for the transportation domain aligned to global roadmaps Product Cataloguing & Classification of regional IT products (Strategic, Heritage, Sunset etc) Sourcing of IT products to satisfy regional IT solution requirements Promote the standardisation agenda and the de-commissioning of legacy products Develop service designs for existing & newly sourced IT products covering application & technology architecture, availability, incident, problem, change & release management processes and associated SLA's Develop and test annually a DR strategy / process Develop and implement an archive and purging strategy Ensure products comply with Information Security and Data Privacy policies and ensure required controls are in place Identify service improvement opportunities and implement associated action plans Support audits of product adherence to documented policies Maintain a document repository for all product related documentation Creation of annual budgets for product run costs & recoveries Identification and budgeting of capital projects required to support product roadmaps Creation and publishing of product rate cards Ongoing cost & recovery management and re-forecasting Manage supplier performance against contracted SLA's Ensure contracts are created / renewed and sub agreement created when required to support customer projects. Ensure contracts include all required polices and align to standard SLA's Work with procurement to ensure best value is achieved Influence supplier roadmaps ensuring the interests of DHL are represented regarding new features and capabilities Take ownership of escalated issues from customers Drive the standardisation agenda and influence as required to achieve successful outcomes Support customers (BU IT & business development) with bid opportunities, providing collateral and expert advice on how the product(s) could contribute to the proposed solution Support customers with the ongoing development of solution templates by providing expert product advice WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
