Overview
Pegasus Group, a leading UK multi‑disciplinary development consultancy, is looking for Urban Designers, Layout Designers, and Masterplanners to join our Design service team at our Leeds office. We deliver design and planning work for a range of projects from large scale urban extensions and regeneration strategies to renewable energy and residential schemes.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and oversee conceptual urban design and planning work, feasibility studies and master planning for residential and mixed‑use schemes.
* Create development briefs and design strategies for developers and private clients.
* Produce drawings and written information to support outline, full and reserved matters planning applications.
Qualifications
* Hold a relevant qualification in design.
* Experience working within private practice, consultancy or a commercial housebuilding operation.
* Visioning and master‑planning for large and small sites.
* A commercially astute approach to residential layout design.
* Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills.
* Self‑motivated with an eye for detail.
* Working knowledge of the planning system and ability to adapt to local authority design guidance.
* Knowledge of CAD software packages; experience in Vectorworks (CAD) an advantage.
