We are seeking a Banking Solicitor (1-6 years’ PQE) to join a leading global law firm’s dynamic Banking practice in Edinburgh.
The Team:
The Corporate and Leveraged Finance team is a vital part of a leading Finance group, specialising in areas like leveraged and acquisition finance, TMT finance (with a strong focus on fintech), corporate lending (including corporate real estate), and funds finance. This team advises on high-value lending transactions across sectors like technology, media, telecoms, energy, life sciences, and hospitality, working with clients from global banks and alternative lenders to private equity firms and tech start-ups.
The Role:
As a Banking Solicitor in this highly-regarded team, you’ll engage in a variety of multi-jurisdictional transactions, including private equity-backed acquisition finance, multi-hotel investment financing, and emerging tech-focused projects like blockchain and AI. The role will offer opportunities to gain experience across different finance practices, with the possibility to specialise based on your career goals.
Key Qualifications required:
1. Qualified solicitor with 1-7 years’ PQE in Banking and Finance
2. Interest in sectors like fintech, TMT, energy, or healthcare
3. Strong client engagement and communication skills
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
